THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN DEFEAT ELECTION FRAUD IS YOU

“Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability. It must be carried in on the backs of courageous people who never lose sight of the dream of this nation. The power of the people is always greater than the people in power.” Mayor Cory Booker, Newark, N.J

By Juan Montoya
Some 8,300 votes have been cast in the Democratic Party primary runoffs, far exceeding the expectations of Democrats and Republicans alike.
And judging by what observers have seen at the polling places , a goodly number of these were the elderly and the infirm hauled in rented vans by the ticket headed by Carlos Masso, candidate for District Attorney, Erin Hernandez Garcia, candidate for Justice of the Peace 2-2, and Abel Gomez, candidate for Constable Pct. 2. Some have also commented that they have seen the name of Denise Blanchard, a candidate for Congressional District 34, also shaded.
As we have reported in past posts, some of these elderly have been virtually kidnapped from their adult day care centers, a marked sample ballot thrust at them as directions for their vote, and then held captive inside the vans while their overseen (politiqueros and politiqueras) watch them fill out the ballots as per their directions.

This is coercion and election fraud pure and simple.
And this is not just us talking.
We have produced for our readers taped conversations where the elderly voters identified Cameron County Pct. 2 Commissioner Ernie Hernandez's wife Norma Hernandez, "la mama de la candidata," directing them to "llene las bolitas" (fill in the ovals marked on the sample ballot) with her daughter's name as she looks over them filling the real ballots. Election department personnel obligingly handed the politiqueros the required number of ballots for their captive charges, even though many can walk and did not ask for assistance filling their ballots.
They, too, are accomplices in this subterfuge of fair and free elections.
Some of these poor elderly have gone on record and said Norma Hernandez lured them with promises of giving them a chicken plate after they voted, plates that never materialized.
Some have protested, but for the most part, these elderly and sometimes mentally disabled adults have done as they're told and voted for the candidates that the overseer ordered.
Of the six races in Tuesday's runoff, five are in the Democratic Party, where the largest number of irregularities have been reported. With some 8,300 votes cast in the Democratic primary and another 1,500 or so in the race in the Republican primary, it is easy to see that the problem lies in the larger number.
Besmirching the messenger for pointing out that in our social compact in a democracy we expect our leaders to embody traits and values that the rest of us frail human with our personal defects often lack holds no water. When massive fraud is perpetrated against the body politic (all of us, the community), this social compact is broken and the electorate should demand that these individuals who tore asunder the fragile bond between us be rejected from political leadership.
The fraud that has been documented and perpetrated against us won't be undone by a judge, as many of us have learned in the past. Judges are loath to undo election results even in the face of overwhelming evidence that fraud has occurred. They, too, run for election under this system as do county prosecutors. Expect no help from those quarters.
What's done is done. Now it is up to the rest of us to urge our fellow citizens who haven't cast their vote for whatever reason to vote with their feet and show up at the polls on Tuesday to neutralize the evil that has been perpetrated against the electoral process.
We know who is responsible for this. To attempt to obfuscate the issue by defending these practices or pointing out other's human frailties is to deny the premise that a meaningful democracy is an ideal worth fighting for or defending.
Do we want to change this? Or not?
